Nope, just editing the standard teams.

If I'm not mistaken, editing a player/team makes it custom, it was the same in rll3 where if you edit a team it will make it custom

Try out making a new comp and see if that fixes the issue.

So if you have edited the stats for the current players on the NRL and SL teams what steps would you take at the start to play a full career but avoid clones?

Unsure. I have that issue myself so I just deleted all my edited NRL players. The issue is most likely an issue with stability in free agents or simply the game registering the players at the start then taking the edited stats and making them two separate players. Shouldnt be an issue after the next patch.

I see.I hope that is not the case as i think we have had the day 1 patch, could be months until this is rectified in another patch and it makes fan hub changes pointless. Also, thousands of people are going to fall into the trap of making edits and then finding their careers are worthless after the first season due to more clones than Star wars!

Hotfixes can happen in days, we could see bug fixes tomorrow and then later on get a big patch. AA games get the same treatment where they release a game regardless of bugs and issues, they'll hotfix and patch them fast. It shouldn't be too far away.

The issue is though, some changes will register and others won't by random.
