True. However I think Sony would adopt a similar mindset without the rigidity that Microsoft has been portrayed to display in the articles.

Sony has won the console war for the latest consoles by far so it's an obvious "winning formula" for Sony to orientate their business model in such a way....

However I am a fan of some Microsoft games so my view is not completely biased. I just don't understand the logic in making something difficult for the sake of making something difficult when a winning formula contrary to this has been identified to work.

The processes in place that approve games for either console are hardly the driving factor in what console sells more units.

Yeh, I meant gameplay trailer which was 2.5weeks before actual release date, I doubt tru blu will bother making a generic trailer unless they're looking to release the game in October......which is a possibility at this rate.

It was pretty clear you meant that, otherwise we're all implying that the release is over 3 months away which seems really unlikely at this point.

Why do you say that? The longer we go without getting a trailer or more info about the game then the more possible it might become.

They'd want to be getting it out quick smart. These games have a small enough market as it is, you wouldn't want to handicap the sales even more by releasing when most of this year's biggest titles will be getting released. If someone had to pick between this and a Halo 5, or a Fallout 4, I don't think the choice would be an overly hard one.

Yeh but the thing is the delay is out of their control. Just like how they planned to release it in Q2 but it just wasn't possible for them so they might be force to release it October or even next year.

There is no relationship between trailer and release date.

If I was that someone... it'd be an easy choice. Smile
