Hoping for some late call up Brett Finch type heroics from Ennis now

Ennis to kick the winning field goal?

I can see it now... 1 minute and 22 seconds left NSW are behind by 2, Klemmer gets tackled 1 meter out from the try line, Ennis looks left and right at his options, sees the numbers are on the right but captain Gallen is on his left and is calling for the ball desperately, Ennis looks ahead at the tired QLD defensive line and see's a tiny gap in front of the line Gallen's going to run that Gallen can see, Klemmer plays the ball, Ennis decides to ignore the calls on the right he picks it up throws a sweet short ball to captain Gallen, the perfect pass allows Gallen to thread himself through the tiny gap plants the ball down and NSW win.

Yep, put your house on it try assist of the century hahaha

I think one of the problems for NSW in the future is hooker problems. Farah is 31 and this Origin series has showed that we don't exactly have a lot of options coming through or even currently available.

Farah has got, what? One or two years left of Origin if that? Currently the only options NSW have in the hooker department that are realistic are Mitch Rein (Solid at best), Nathan Peats (Solid) and Michael Ennis (31, same as Farah).

Meanwhile Queensland has Jake Friend (Probably the third best Australian hooker), James Segeyaro (Definitely has potential to become the best in the league) and an abundance of halves that could probably fit into hooker quite easily if need be.

I think Peats will mature just in time for Farah to retire.

I think NSW have an exceptional team going forward, I think if QLD don't win tonight we might not have another chance to win for a while.

Definetely seeing a changing of the guard right now.

Peats just needs to get over the injury issues of the past two seasons, and he is the number nine going into tonight and not Ennis.

Last origin game Ennis played, QLD did a good job of completely ignoring anything Ennis did to them. So he's going to have to take his grubbyness to the next level if he wants to put QLD off their game.

Didn't Ennis actually lost a game for NSW when he punched Shillington and gave QLD a penalty to score a match winning try?

Ennis can bring fear into the Maroons by niggling tonight

I don't think fear is the right word but if he can get under their skin and cause them to lash out that'd be good if you're a Blues fan.

Just bumping this back to the top since the game starts in an hour and this thread was way down the bottom due to the excitement of the teaser video.
